BDU hosts representative of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The Bahir Dar University leadership held a meeting with delegates of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The meeting aimed at understanding the challenges, opportunities and potential solutions of the education ecosystem in terms of enhancing youth employment opportunities and improving the performance of the Entrepreneurship, Water and Agri-food sectors. This is seen to contribute to the development of a country-specific education development plan for the years to come that will be supported by the Dutch government. It was also discussed about the need to work in collaboration to understand the knowledge and skill gap in various fields and to see how support can be provided to the agricultural sector through improvement of knowledge and skill development.
