Bahir Dar University College of Medicine and Health Sciences was established in 2007, known as Bahir Dar University Medical School, till 2009 when it became one of the four Bahir Dar University premier Colleges. It is one of the youngest medical training institutions in Ethiopia; having been in the business of medical and health professionals training just over 15 years.
