BiT- BDU organized a curriculum review workshop [August 9, 2024 Bahir Dar, ISC/BiT] ******** Bahir Dar Institute of Technology (BiT), Faculty of Chemical and Food Engineering organized a Curriculum Review Workshop focused on its postgraduate programs in Mineral Processing, Membrane Engineering and Electrochemical Engineering. The workshop aims to review and update the curricula to ensure these programs remain competitive and relevant, ultimately preparing highly skilled professionals to meet the evolving demands of the industry.   Dr. Zenamarkos Bantie, Dean of School of graduate studies, underscored the importance of maintaining up-to-date and industry-aligned academic programs to provide students with the skills necessary for their future careers. Following the opening, Prof. Solomon Workneh, Dean of Faculty of Chemical and Food Engineering, presented a brief overview of the faculty’s recent activities.  Dr. Tewodros Nigatu and Dr. Anteneh Marelign, presented the curriculum for Membrane Engineering, while Dr. Zekarias Gebreyesus provided an overview of the Mineral Processing program. Following that, Dr. Sintayehu Nibret, reviewed the Mineral Processing Curriculum, Dr. Dessalew Berihun evaluated the Electrochemical Engineering Curriculum, and Dr. Tamene Simachew also reviewed the presentation on Electrochemical Engineering.
