Safaricom Talent Cloud Hosts Transformative Training to Bahir Dar University Students at BiT-BDU

Safaricom Ethiopia, in collaboration with Bahir Dar University, Gebeya, and JICA, launched the Safaricom Talent Cloud training program for Bahir Dar University students. The training aims to empower BDU students, the next generation of talent, with essential skills for the modern workplace. This initiative seeks to equip students with valuable professional connections and practical skills, ensuring they are well-prepared for permanent or project-based employment opportunities.

Mrs. Hana Damtie, Gebeya's Customer Success Lead, highlighted the key offerings of the Safaricom Talent Cloud during the training. She explained that students who enroll at safaricom.gebeya.com will gain access to group coaching with industry experts, project-based, in-person training for rapid skill development, and industry-recognized certificates. As she stated, Safaricom Talent Cloud also provides inclusion in a professional network of peers and experts in fields such as Project Management, Software Engineering, Digital Marketing, and Financial and Media Literacy.

During the training, participants heard inspiring testimonials from previous Safaricom Talent Cloud members, gaining valuable insights through live demonstrations. They also enjoyed seamless registration access to the platform. Interactive booths offered additional learning resources and networking opportunities, allowing attendees to connect with industry professionals and thought leaders.
