12th EAI Conference on Science and Technology Concludes

The 12th EAI International Conference on Science and Technology (ICAST-2024) has successfully concluded at the Bahir Dar Institute of Technology, Bahir Dar University (BiT-BDU). Organized into seven tracks focusing on engineering, technology, and innovation, this year’s conference received 175 submissions, with 81 accepted and 59 papers presented to the public.

Dr. Mitiku Damitie, Acting Scientific Director of BiT, expressed gratitude to organizers, presenters, participants, and sponsors during the conference's closing remarks, highlighting the value of collective effort in promoting scientific dialogue. He also presented certificates to the best Paper presenter and the conference organizing committee.

ICAST-2024 conference focused on addressing societal challenges through science and technology. Bringing together scientists and engineers from diverse backgrounds, the conference provided a platform for meaningful discussions on advancements aimed at sustainable development.
