Washera Geospace and Radar Science Laboratory (WaGRL), which was established in 2007, is a research laboratory and a training center at Bahir Dar University, Bahir Dar, Ethiopia.

To be the best research laboratory in the field of Geospace and Radar Science world-wide by conducting the state-of-the-art research, scholarship, and creative activities that develop knowledge and contribute to the economic growth and social advancement of Ethiopia and benefit humanity as a whole. 
Mission
To create and advance knowledge, and foster innovation in order to solve critical scientific, technological, and innovation challenges and gaps facing Ethiopia and the world.
