Behailu Melesse Digafe (Ph.D) is an assistant professor in the Department of Architecture at the Institute of Land Administration, Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia. His educational background includes a BSc in Urban Planning, an M.Sc.. in Urban Design and Development, and a PhD in Land Policy and Governance. He has over 15 years of experience in urban planning and design, contributing to over 35 projects as an expert, team leader, and supervisor. Dr. Behailu was in charge of the Architecture Department and engaged in numerous community services connected to sustainable urban development projects. At the moment, he is teaching undergraduate and graduate courses like urban planning, urban design, and land development & management. The main area of Behailu's research is sustainable urban planning and development. He has published five peer-reviewed articles.
