Teshome Taffa Dadi (Ph.D., Associate Professor) is an Ethiopian Associate Professor and researcher in Land Policy and Governance at Bahir Dar University, where he has held various academic and leadership roles since 1995. He holds a PhD in Environmental Management from the University of South Africa (2019), an MSc in Land Management from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Sweden (2006), and a BA in Geography from Addis Ababa University (1994). Teshome has extensive experience in land administration and governance. Some of the key roles that he has held include being an associate editor of the Journal of Land Policy and Governance, chairperson of the Audit Committee of the Ethiopian Land Administration Professionals Association, and coordinator of several projects on land. He has worked as a consultant for USAID and GIZ and developed training modules for the Ethiopian government in land administration. His research interests are in the areas of land tenure systems, rural cadastral systems, and policy development for informal settlements. He also critically reviews articles for international journals related to his field of specialization and is a member of many professional organizations.
