Zinabu Getahun Sisay (M.Sc., Assistant professor) is an Assistant Professor of Land Surveying and Photogrammetry/Remote sensing at the Institute of Land Administration, Bair University, Ethiopia. He has graduated with his BSc degree in Land administration and Surveying, Bahir Dar University in 2011. He has been at Aalto University, Finland as academic exchange student in the area of Geomatics for one full academic (2013/14). He received his M.Sc.. degree in Remote Sensing/Photogrammetry in 2017 from the Addis Ababa University, Entoto Observatory Research Center focused on integration of GNSS with Aerial Surveying/Photogrammetry for positional alignment and orientation testing for cadastral and planning spatial features quality.
Apart from this, he has been working as chair holder o Geomatics, department of Land Administration and Surveying and head of surveying and Mapping, Geospatial Data Technology Center, Bahir Dar University from 2017 to 2019. Currently he is working as head of Land Administration and Surveying, Institute of Land Administration since 2019 and Research Division Head of Surveying and Geodesy, Geospatial Data Technology Center, Bahir Dar University since 2024.
