Habtamu Sitotaw Semahagne (Ph.D.) is an Assistant Professor of Land Policy and Governance in the areas of Land Law, Land Policy, Land Governance and Federalism at the Institute of Land Administration, Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia. He Obtained his first degree from Wollo University, Ethiopia with LLB (First Degree of Laws) in 2013. He received his M.Sc.. degree in Land Administration and Management, Area of Focus in Real Property Law from Bahir Dar Unievrsity in 2016. He also obtained M.Sc.. degree in Sustainable Management of Resources and Cultural Heritage for Local Development: Empowering Higher Education in Africa, University of Politecnico Milano, Italy, in 2023. His PhD degree is obatined from Bahir Dar Unievrsity within DAAD In Country/In Region Scholarship in 2021 with a specility on "Land Policy and Governance". He is acting as chair of Law Track, Chiar of Student's Discipine Committee of ILA, and a private legal advocate. He has published research projects in local and international journals.
