Structural Engineering Laboratory

 

Located in Building 15, it is a laboratory where structural elements materials testing is performed including concrete compressive strength test as well as steel bending and steel tensile strength test. Currently it is being used as a testing laboratory for post graduate researchers as well as a commercial material testing for the community.

Machine name: Microcomputer Controlled Universal testing machine (UTM)

Purpose: Performs a wide range of tensile and compressive tests along with bending of different materials like steel concrete and timber.
