Department of Chemistry has about 40 academic staff members who are engaged in quality teaching and research. The department is equipped with many advanced instrumentation facilities such as GC-MS, GC, HPLC, AAS, FTIR, UV- VIS spectrophotometers, Fluorimeter, Polarography, Voltammeter, Bomb Calorimeter and Water Purification units.
Objectives
The objective of the program is to produce well-trained chemists capable of taking up positions in the growing demand of the various sectors such as industries, research and academic institutions.
