BDU Law School Ranked 1st in Memorial (Written Litigation) and 2nd in Oral Litigation in the African International Humanitarian Law Moot Court Competition

Bahir Dar University School of Law Moot court competition team ranked first in Memorial (Written Litigation) and 2nd in Oral litigation on the 2022 African Humanitarian Law Moot Court Competition organized by Firdaus Integrated Services LTD in partnership with Adekunle Ajasin University Faculty of Law and Kwara State University Faculty of Law Held in Nigeria.  Moreover, BDU Law school students' Memorial was selected as the best Memorial of all. 

The moot court team comprises of student Lidya Dessalegn and Hawi Woyo, and Yabsra Alemneh (Coach and Instructor).

Our students argued a hypothetical case before International Humanitarian Law Experts after they had submitted their Memorial and qualified for oral round. They came over competition of Preliminary Round, Quarter Final Round and Semi-finals Round to reach to the Final Round. The Dean Office of the School would like to say congratulations to Bahir dar University community, particularly the community at Law school.
