Office drills student representatives

BDU: The University’s Anti-corruption and Ethics Office has offered a half day training to student representatives on notions and impacts of corruption.

 

It has been indicated that the students were needed to have some thoughts on corruption since it is a national agendum and is posing a threat to the country in different ways.

 

The head of BDU’s Anti-corruption and Ethics Office, Mr. Yonas Getinet, has indicated that the training was intended to enlighten the students on the nature of corruption, ways of its realizations as well as its current status in Ethiopia.

It has also been pointed out that corruption happens when citizens become morally bankrupt.

Open Forum on Sustainability and Institutional Culture holds at BDU

An open forum which focuses on sustainability and institutional culture was held yesterday at the main campus of Bahir Dar University.
The forum which was organized by the Capacity Building Center of the Quality Assurance and Enhancement Directorate was intended to create an opportunity for the university community to openly discuss the current condition of the university in the creation of sustainable systems in teaching-learning, research, community services and leadership at large.
