Political Science and International Studies

Introduction

In Civics and Ethical Studies, the undergraduate program is in regular, extension and summer. The objective, courses, and graduation requirements are more or les the same. There are slight differences in the admission requirement and course breaks downs.

 

Admission Requirement

For any program (regular, extension summer and distance), it depends on the requirements set by the ministry of education for higher education enrolment. But there may be variations in some cases.

 

Objectives

  • To provide the widest needs of the national market with graduates who have a civic knowledge and competence in the vast area of Civic and Ethical Studies; who have developed a remarkable degree of capacity and responsibility so that they could effectively participate in the socio-economic and political problems of the Country;
  • To Provide graduates equipped with multidisciplinary approach that could effectively contributes in addressing the multifaceted problems of Ethiopian societies;
  • To provide Graduates that are bound to democratic and Ethical standards, skilled with the art of deliberation and reasoning that play exemplary role in the society.
