College of Medicine and Health Sciences and Congenital Heart Academy Sign Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

(January 21, 2022, Bahir Dar): Bahir Dar University College of Medicine and Health Sciences/ Tibebe Ghion Specialized Hospital and Congenital Heart Academy have signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The agreement aimed at providing training for cardiac care providers in the institution.

The partnership between Tibebe Ghion Specialized Hospital and Congenital Heart Academy is hoped to enable them develop online and possibly onsite Cardiac training programs that will contribute immensely to the advancement of the cardiac service in the country. This program is believed to produce Echo cardiographers, pediatric and congenital heart specialists to improve efficiency and quality of cardiac care in Ethiopia.

The partnership will provide a great opportunity to get training sustainably and work in collaboration among the staffs of the two groups that will ultimately help the cardiac service in Ethiopia to grow and meet the needs of the country with improved quality of cardiac care.

Prof. Yeshigeta Gelaw, Chief Executive Director/ Vice President/, has signed for and on behalf of College of Medicine and Health Sciences/ Tibebe Ghion Specialized Hospital. On behalf of Congenital Heart Academy, Prof. Sasha Agati, President, has signed.
